It seems like the ubuntu mirrors are not working on Azure VMs as I am getting the following error

Failed to fetch http://azure.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/c/curl/libcurl4-openssl-dev_7.81.0-1ubuntu1.10_amd64.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 52.147.219.192 80]

Much appreciated if any idea you have.

    Hi @Edward KE

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

The error message you are seeing indicates that the package you are trying to install is not found on the Ubuntu mirror. This could be due to a temporary issue with the mirror or an outdated mirror. You can try switching to a different mirror by editing the /etc/apt/sources.list file and replacing http://azure.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ with a different mirror URL.
You can find a list of mirrors at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archivemirrors. If the issue persists, you can try troubleshooting your VM by following the steps outlined in the Azure Virtual Machine support and help options documentation.

If you have any further queries, please tag me in your comments and we can discuss.

If this does answer your question, please accept it as the answer as a token of appreciation.
