    Hello Parul,

    Thank you for your question and for reaching out with your question today.

    If you are not seeing the "Tile" option in the slicer settings in Power BI, it's possible that you are using a version of Power BI that does not have this feature or that the slicer settings have been modified or restricted in your current report or visualization. Here are a few things you can check:

    1. Power BI Version: Make sure you are using a recent version of Power BI that includes the "Tile" option in slicer settings. Check for updates and install the latest version if available.
    2. Report Compatibility: Ensure that the report you are working on is compatible with the latest features of Power BI. If the report was created using an older version of Power BI Desktop or uploaded from an older version, some features may not be available.
    3. Slicer Type: The "Tile" option might be available only for certain types of slicers. For example, it might be available for the "Dropdown" slicer type but not for the "List" or "Dropdown list" slicer types. Check the slicer type you are using.
    4. Visual Interaction: The availability of slicer settings can also depend on the visual interactions defined in your report. Make sure the slicer is set to interact with other visuals properly to enable all available settings.
    5. Field Data Type: The data type of the field used in the slicer could also affect the available slicer settings. Ensure that the data type of the field is appropriate for the slicer's use case.
    6. Page Level Filters: Check if any page-level filters are affecting the slicer settings. If there are filters applied at the report or page level, they might impact the options available in slicer settings.
    7. Report Theme and Customizations: Custom report themes or modifications to visuals could potentially impact slicer settings. Try using a default theme or create a new report to see if the issue persists.
    8. Workspace Permissions: If you are working in a shared workspace, check if you have the necessary permissions to modify slicer settings. Certain restrictions or workspace settings might prevent users from accessing or modifying specific features.

    If none of the above suggestions resolve the issue, it's recommended to consult with your organization's Power BI administrator or support team to verify if there are any specific configurations or limitations in place that could be affecting the slicer settings in your Power BI reports.

    Hi Parul

    I experinced the same issue. It was because the Tile option is not available for Slicer hierarchies.

    @Limitless Technology
    The answer above looks generated because there is only one official default slicer by Microsoft.

    Cheers, Mike
