We are getting this error in Microsoft Shifts when we copy one shift from day and paste it in the next day on the same person's weekly timeline. It doesn't matter which person we do this on, every test is failing. We can add a new shift with the exact same info, but not copy and paste. Multiple users are experiencing this.

Same here, just creating the next months and found the same issue. Also cannot delete if you managed to paste in a shift.

noticed the same for over a week now. A work around I found when unable to share shifts is to:

    1. move the task / schedule to open shifts.
    2. from there, click the 03 dots and select assign open shift.
    3. a drop down list of resources will appear - select from there
    4. once the task / schedule appears on the selected resource, you can go right ahead and share

Works for me. 02 other options available to get this shared but longer clicks and steps compared to this. hope this helps

    Hi @
    Guy Raymond

Sorry that we failed to reproduce your problem successfully through our testing. The copy function works fine on our Shift.

Please try clearing the Teams cache or check if Teams is updated to the latest version.

Teams, Shifts, cleared Cache, checked for updates, still having an issue where I can't assign a shift from Open Shifts to a team member below. I also cannot delete the shifts from open shifts. However, this problem is only for two shifts, Tues and Wed, for one section only.

    Having the same issue here.

    I found a workaround:
If you share the shifts (via the button on the top-right corner) you can edit the shifts afterwards.
But then again, you have to share the whole thing to everyone. Which is a bit annoying.

    An additional error is:
If you copy an already shared shift and try to edit it, you get the error message (so far we know).
But if you right click on the copied shift, and click "share", it won't work. So you have to share via the top right button.
