I have deleted an account in Microsoft Authenticator as I have moved the account over to a work device.

The problem is that I am now receiving push notifications on my work phone AND my personal phone where I deleted the account.

Why am I still receiving push notifications on the device where I deleted the account?

Simplest solution may be to remove the account from the device. On my android phone it is Settings\Passwords & accounts

I just experienced this first hand and the solution was:

    1. sign into ***mysignins>Security Info (***You will notice multiple methods listed for the Microsoft Authenticator Push multi-factor authentication (MFA) ) User's image
    2. Delete the Microsoft Authenticator Push multi-factor authentication (MFA) method for the Phone model you want to stop receiving the push notifications for.

    That worked it for me.
