nikhil Greetings!
I wanted to understand the pricing of Azure ML Studio Notebooks.
Did you check the Azure Machine Learning pricing documentation already?
Azure Machine Learning Studio Notebooks pricing is based on the virtual machine instance that you choose to run your notebooks on. The instance cost is based on the size of the virtual machine and the duration of usage**.**
Let us say I am using the Enterprise Version Plan. Have 5 users, running one notebook each for 30 days (24/7) with a T4 GPU.
For your scenario, you mentioned that you have 5 users running one notebook each for 30 days (24/7) with a T4 GPU. Based on this, you will be charged for the virtual machine instance that you choose to run your notebooks on. The cost of the virtual machine instance will depend on the size of the virtual machine and the duration of usage**.**
How much will I be charged? From what I understand is that per-notebook I will be charged the "Instance Cost" for the GPU machine.
Your understanding is correct. This cost is associated with running experiments in Azure Machine Learning Studio, not with running notebooks.
Apart from this I am not sure if we would be charged "Studio Experiment Hour" at 1$ per hour. Can you confirm if we will be charged an additional 1$ per hour?
Are you referring to Machine Learning Studio (classic)?
To get an estimate of the cost for running your notebooks, you can use the Azure pricing calculator. You can select the virtual machine instance that you want to use and adjust the duration of usage to get an estimate of the cost.
Also, please check Frequently asked questions for more details.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
