I am unable to connect to Azure SQL and the query editor in Azure portal does not work either. I am also unable to add additional addresses to the firewall, and cannot export the database. This has been going on for the last 18 hours. Error: TITLE: Connect to Server Cannot connect to xxxxxxxx.database.windows.net. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Database 'master' on server 'xxxxxxxx.database.windows.net' is not currently available. Please retry the connection later. If the problem persists, contact customer support, and provide them the session tracing ID of '{D3A59D46-63E4-4985-9FCF-633E7EC7841A}'. Hi @Frank Kohler When you try to connect to a SQL database, the login request first goes to the logical master database to confirm your credentials. If the master database is not available, the connection to your database may take longer or time out. In your case, look like master database is not available and could be backend issue. Which region is your server hosted? As mentioned by Alberto, you can open a support case and share the case number if possible. Thank you!

The best way to address this issue if it persists, is to contact customer support. You have been seen this over the last 16 hours, please create a support ticket.

When you try to connect to a SQL database, the login request first goes to the logical master database to confirm your credentials. If the master database is not available, the connection to your database may take longer or time out.

In your case, look like master database is not available and could be backend issue. Which region is your server hosted?

As mentioned by Alberto, you can open a support case and share the case number if possible.

I do not have paid support, so when I attempt to open a ticket it pretty much says I'm out of luck. My region is North Central USA. I've tried connecting directly to other databases as well, but same issue. Also, it appears that the export capability is affected by this issue. I'm not sure what else I can do except hope someone at Azure notices there is an issue.
