Hi Azure,
I would like to know which ip geolocation database Azure Maps Geolocation use. Do you use Maxmind or Azure self-developed database?

2023-07-26T00:06:38.81+00:00 Update: Talking with the Azure Maps product group I found out they actually get this data from Bing. I'm not sure who Bing gets the data from, but I suspect it's a combination of both licensed data and internally sourced data.

2023-07-28T15:43:09.8+00:00 I tracked down the owner of that service inside Microsoft. There are two ways you can report this kind of data issue:
- Open a support ticket in the Azure Portal within your Azure Maps resource. Main way to report any production issues with the platform. If you don't have a support contract you can sign up for Developer level support for free: https://support.azure.cn/en-us/support/plans/ If you aren't sure if an issue is with your application or the platform, its best to start off in the forums where we can help debug the issue first.
- For this specific issue, if it's the occasional issue, feel free to provide me the details and I'll submit it directly to the owner of the service. Note I'm not a support person, so I likely will just pass on the information and not keep track of the status.
