I authenticated an email with another phone but then uninstalled by mistake and now I'm trying to authenticate with the phone but when i put the password for the email and try and authenticate it tells me to put a code in the app,how am I supposed to do this when it's the app I am using for the process in the first place and I can't go back because it then cancels the ongoing process... please help

Hi Terence,

Easiest way is to you can restore from backup (assuming there was one)and check you had configured Backup on the Auth App, check the process here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/back-up-and-recover-account-credentials-in-the-authenticator-app-bb939936-7a8d-4e88-bc43-49bc1a700a40

If not then you will have to use the service provider or Apps recovery process.
