Assuming your autodiscover record is still pointing to the on-premises server, there's nothing wrong with this behavior. If you want to suppress the prompt, you can add the RedirectServers registry key: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/troubleshoot/connectivity/how-to-suppress-autodiscover-redirect-warning
Exchange migration - Microsoft Outlook "Allow this website to configure server settings"
We are migrating our on-prem Exchange 2016 to Exchange online and we have hybrid connection in place. We have migrated our first 2 users as a test and a few of our colleagues are getting a pop-up with the message
"Allow this website to configure [******@company.com] server settings. https://autodiscover.abccompany.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml, Your account was redirected to this website for settings. You should only all settings from sources you know and trust."
We can allow and suppress this by selecting "don't show again", but really wondering what is causing this and why certain users are getting this pop-up and that too with a different user email in the first line of "Allow this website to configure user [******@company.com] server setting"
Is there anything that we can check to ensure our hybrid connection autodiscover settings are correct or anything else that we can check to identify the root cause of this and to prevent this happening for other users when we migrate their mailboxes? Many thanks
