Failover cluster and error with Network Name Resource

Hello,

a few days ago I build Failover Cluster on Windows Server 2022 (2 nodes).

All was correctly configured, but on Cluster Events I always have got an error with Event ID 1257:

Cluster network name resource failed registration of one or more associated DNS names(s) because the access to update the secure DNS Zone was denied. Cluster Network name: 'Cluster Name' DNS Zone: 'contoso.local' Ensure that cluster name object (CNO) is granted permissions to the Secure DNS Zone.

I added permissions for Cluster to DNS Zone(as full control) and the same to the container on AD Users and Computers.

Some ideas?

    Hey,

Cluster nodes and cluster should have permissions to update Zones and Records in DNS. Might be helpful: https://4sysops.com/archives/create-a-cluster-name-object-and-solve-cluster-connection-problems/

In addition, StarWind VSAN can be used in a 2 node cluster to use local storage of the nodes as a cluster shared volumes. https://www.starwindsoftware.com/starwind-virtual-san
