how custom classifier in azure form recognizer works?

I created custom classifier in Azure form recognizer. In documentation it states that it it get invoked before data extraction to detect the document type. Also to train the model it requires at least two distinct classes and a minimum of five samples per class. So it means it will detect/Accept both types of document ? What if i want my model to extract data from only one type of document like pdfs. Also how to use the model after creation? I could not find any specific info about what will be the expected behavior of the model?
