SharePoint 2019 On-premises Log Monitoring tool

Hello Team,

Kindly, I want the SharePoint on-premises user profile logs location and how we enable and troubleshoot the sync work or not. and is there is any free tool which provide issue details, except uls log viewer.

Hi Imran Nawaz,

SharePoint tracks all the transactions in a log file and by default SharePoint log files are stored in the following location:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\16\LOGS

Currently, the following monitoring tools are available to monitor SharePoint Server and troubleshoot problems:

1.SharePoint Health Analyzer

2.Timer Jobs

3.Reporting

4.Microsoft PowerShell

5.System Center - Operations Manager with System Center Management Pack for SharePoint Server

6.Event Viewer

7.SharePoint Developer Dashboard

8.Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)

9.SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
