All,

Can anyone guide me on how to find out the last restore datetime of a standalone Dedicated SQL Pool? I am looking for a way to obtain this information using either the Azure portal or PowerShell.

Kindly share any resources or insights you might have.

Thank you in advance!

    Hey,

Based on my understanding you cannot restore the Restore point as the same database name in same server :

So whenever you want to restore, you would have to create a new pool with different name on same sever and then rename the pools.

Then within properties , you can check the creation date

@PS Thank you for reaching out.

Please try the below PowerShell Script to get the last restore datetime for an azure dedicated SQL Pool.

I don't see any command to find this.

But from the logs section you can see the activity of the last restore. I just restored one of the DB. The operation name is create or update SQL analytics pools. I restored the DB as demo_restore, you can see that on the restore column.

    Hope that helps,
