Getting "Network Error" Windows cannot access\domain-server name\users*directory name\folder You do not have permission to access*:; In my directory, I can access some folders, both as a user, and most as an administrator. But not all in either. In two folders where I can access one but not the other as a user, the sharing/permission settings are identical. I can access both as an administrator. What I do notice, when I am logged in as a user, I cannot see the file size in the "general" properties tab for the folder I cannot open. Seems to be a "read" permission issue. I tried to change the owner of the folders I cannot see, but when I do; I get "Error applying security. Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access denied"
For many years as a Windows user, I could just copy the configurations of any working Windows computer to that of one that wasn't, and it would almost always work. However, on this issue, I am being blocked from imitating the permissions and allowing them to take place.
I have read others with a similar issue than this, but not this exact issue. The fixes that are listed don't seem to cover this particular problem. And like others, I have hundreds of individual files in these folders. A one at a time correction is not feasible.
This is a Windows 10 workstation. If any of you need more details, I will try to provide if you answer.

Something here could help.

Is this on the Share permissions or the underlying NTFS permissions? Might try deleting the share, confirm the NTFS permissions, then recreate the share.
