How to add data to our Microsoft Viva Insights results.

We want to add data to our Viva Insights results. Our data of managers and people's locations are well organized in AD, but we wanted to add an additional set of information to the data, such as work-from-home days, etc. We would like to combine these two sets of data in the results.

However, we are under the impression that if we upload a CSV file, it completely bypasses the data from AD, and as a result, the data is no longer updated automatically. This would mean we have to upload a new data set every month because with 22,000 people, managers and people tend to change quite frequently while the working from home situation and other additional data does not. Is it possible to upload extra data information without 'canceling' the data from AD?

    According to your description, i notice that you are trying to upload a CSV file. As i know, we always use the below two methods:

    Upload organizational data (first upload)

    Upload organizational data (subsequent upload)

    Is it possible to upload extra data information without 'canceling' the data from AD?

    Please check if you are using the same method as above. If so, you can try to update existing data.
