String Comparison in PowerApps/Power Automate
I’m working on a PowerApps tool where I have a “Text Input” Field that users are able to change. I’ve been looking for a way to display their changes. For example, show the original text, but if they took out a word, strike through that word and if they added a word, show that word in red. I don’t think this is possible using a “Text Label,” because you can’t format a label word by word. I thought I would be able to do it using an “HTML Text” field, where I can add tags for deleted or new text. I can write code that takes in the original text and modified text and outputs a block of HTML text in Python, JS, or VBA. But I can’t figure out a way to connect this to my App. I don’t have access to desktop flows. I’ve seen the use of a “Run Script” connector for Excel in Power Automate, but I don’t see that Action under the Excel Online (Business) connector in my Power Automate. Is there any other way I can either run some kind of code through PowerApps or Power Automate? And if not, is there any other way I could accomplish this task? Thanks.
