After upgrading a laptop to windows 11, one domain user can't login to the domain. It acts like it is building his profile but then it goes back to the login screen. Other domain users can log in without this issue, the domain admin as well.

I have removed the users profile off of the laptop and renamed his users folder so that a new profile can be created. This did not fix the issue. I upgraded to version 21H2.

I have spent hours trying to find a solution to this issue. We have placed our Windows 11 upgrade on hold for the other workstations until this can be resolved.

Any help would be greatly appreshiated.

    Hello

There could be several reasons why a domain user is unable to log in to a Windows 11 device after an upgrade. One possible reason could be related to the user’s login script. Some users have reported that fixing their login script or switching to Group Policy drive mapping resolved the issue. Another possible reason could be related to the Falcon sensor for Windows. There was an issue with Falcon Identity Protection that blocked Kerberos authentications performed by hosts running Windows 11 version 22H2, but this issue has been fixed in a hotfix for Falcon sensor for Windows 6.46.16012/6.47.16104.
