Im trying to install a driver for my audio interface but everytime I try to do so windows installer lags and eventually just gives me the error code 1602.

Could be some other process, av or other killed the install.

you could try enabling some logging

So i tried to rerun the installer today and Windows installer does not seem to do anything. And when I checked the device manager it is not using any processor power it seems like.
I also tried the logging but it seems like my machine does not have the correct directories or something to install Logging manually. My Regedit stops at Windows and doesn't have the subfolder for the Windows installer.
Some other possibilities listed here.

I found a youtube video that fixed the issue after i restarted my computer!
