Adding Shared Mailbox in Outlook for mobile in Exchange 2019 on-premises

In an on-premises Exchange 2019 infrastructure we need to add some shared mailboxes on mobile devices.

The "Add a shared mailbox" option in the Outlook for Android client menu is missing.

Despite we can find documentation about it for Office 365, we cannot find documentation relating to on-prem Exchange Server 2019.

Unofficial documentation and forums talk about the impossibility of opening a shared mailbox on Outlook for mobile from Exchange on-prem infrastructures. To get it, they say it is necessary to use Exchange Online.

Is it possible to have some official information and documentation about it? Thanks

Yes, it is necessary to use Exchange Online. At this time, it's not possible to open a shared mailbox on a mobile device as a shared mailbox with Exchange on-prem infrastructures.
