If you have a new phone number, you need to update the details of the security verification method. This way the verification requests will be sent to the correct recipient. You can follow this link to open the Additional Security Verification page. Alternatively, you can get to the Additional Security Verification page by following the steps below:
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 portal (office.com).
- In the upper-right corner, select your avatar and then select View Account.
- Under Security Information, select Update Information.
