Windows 10 20H2 Sandbox stays at build 19041.508 (2004)

Question

I sometimes use Windows Sandbox for quick testing and need certain build versions. I had hoped, after updating to 20H2 my sandbox version will also be 20H2, but it stays at version 19041.508. Why this?

Out of curiosity I just installed a complete fresh new 20H2 ISO from MSDN and tried there also, same result. So even the newest 20H2 ISOs only comes with 19041.508 sandboxes.

Will this be fixed sometime in the future? Am I able to update via commandline and directly updating the base vhdx?

According to the current information, it seems there's no information indicates the Sandbox version is updated in Windows 10 20H2, just know there's new police available in Sandbox:
