"The query string "siteUrl" is missing or invalid" when trying to delete Sharepoint

I haven't been able to delete the sharepoint due to this error. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

It is a pleasure to be able to help you.

We tested this issue in our environment, and it works fine.

You can refer to the following steps:

1.Go to Settings >> Site information.

2.Click Delete site.

If the issue persists, you can also choose to delete the site in the admin center. Please refer to below steps:

1.Go to the admin center with URL https://{tenant}-admin.sharepoint.com/

(Here {tenant} needs to be changed to your tenant's name.) And this requires a SharePoint / Global administrator account to sign in.

2.Click Active sites, search the site that you want to delete and click it.

2.Click Delete.

I have the same problem. When I go into the admin centre and delete the site. I go back to my SharePoint and the site appears on the list. Clicking on the site gives me a 404 error

This appears for the site deleted through the admin and also for a test site that I deleted in the usual fashion. the sites are not disappearing from the site list.
