Experimental method 1: Update and repair NICs Driver (failure)
Experimental method 2: modify DNS (failed)
Experimental Method 2: Qos Packet Scheduler (failed)
Experimental method 3: change to a laptop to test the network speed can reach the highest
The download speed of my computer is up to 11M/s, how can I get the highest speed?
thanks

    Hi,

Please make sure the NIC driver has been updated to the latest version. As shown in your screenshots, the link speed has already been set to 1000Mbps. Did you test with the same port of the optical modem and cable? Have you tested the speed to other devices directly connected to your notebook? If the speed is also 100Mbps, you will have to contact your notebook manufacturer.

    Best Regards,

    Ian Xue

    Hello,

Thank you for your question and for reaching out with your question today.

To achieve the highest network speed on your computer, you can try the following steps:

    1. Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your network card installed. Visit the manufacturer's website or use Windows Update to check for and update the drivers.
    2. Verify that your network card supports the desired connection speed and duplex mode. Some older or basic network cards may not support higher speeds.
    3. Check your network cables and connections to ensure they are in good condition. Faulty cables can lead to slower speeds.
    4. If you are using Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to a 5GHz network if available, as it generally provides faster speeds than 2.4GHz.
    5. Minimize interference from other devices that may be using the same frequency as your Wi-Fi network.
    6. Disable any unnecessary background applications or services that might be consuming network bandwidth.
    7. Consider optimizing your router's settings, such as enabling Quality of Service (QoS) to prioritize certain network traffic.

Remember that the actual download speed you can achieve depends on your internet service provider (ISP) plan. If you have already tried these steps and are still experiencing slow speeds, it's possible that your internet plan is the limiting factor.

If the issue persists, contacting your ISP for assistance or considering an upgraded plan might be beneficial to get the highest possible speed.
