Online limit to send mails

Hi All

One of my user wants to send emails to 900 users(all individual users no DL). i believe the limit is 500. Can admin increase the limit to 1000 please guide me. One of my other user wants to send meeting invite to 2000 external users.is it possible to send meeting invite to 2000 users.

Microsoft imposes limits on the number of recipients and messages that can be sent from a single mailbox per day to help protect its customers and their recipients from spam, bulk mail, and phishing attempts. For Exchange Online, this limit was 500 recipients per day for regular users.

For an Office 365 or Microsoft 365 organization, you might be able to work around this limitation by distributing the recipients across multiple messages, or by using distribution groups.

If you absolutely need to increase these limits, you might want to consider using a third-party mass emailing service that's designed to handle such tasks.

📚 Regarding the meeting invite to 2000 external users, there is also a limit on the number of recipients you can add to a meeting invite. The recipient limit for a single meeting is 300. If you try to add more than 300 recipients to a meeting, you'll receive an error message. From my understanding, these limits could not be increased.

I recommend you to review the organization's email policy, ensure that your mass emails comply with all relevant laws and regulations (such as CAN-SPAM), and ensure that they are not likely to be perceived as spam by the recipients or email providers.

No its capped to 1000 to discourage unwanted bulk message sending. MSFT recommends that you use a 3rd party service to do anything more. Or y;ou can do it in batches.
