I use FRPC to map the remote RDP port to 127.0.0.1:3310. When I log in, I can’t click on “use another account” (no response when I click) and other buttons including the close, confirm, cancel buttons on the top right corner also have no response. But after clicking cancel, the window will close by itself after about 50 seconds.User's image

    Hello,

The issue you are experiencing with Remote Desktop (RDP) on Windows 11 Pro, where certain buttons are not responding or have delayed responses, can have various potential causes. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:

Check Network Connectivity: Ensure that there are no network connectivity issues between your local machine and the remote host. Verify that the FRPC mapping and network settings are correct.

Disable FRPC Mapping: Temporarily disable the FRPC mapping and try connecting to the remote host directly using the standard RDP client to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem is related to the FRPC configuration.

Update Remote Desktop Client: Ensure that you are using the latest version of the Remote Desktop client on your Windows 11 machine. Check for updates in the Microsoft Store or the Windows Update settings.

Check Remote Desktop Protocol Version: Verify that both the remote host and your local Windows 11 machine are using compatible RDP protocol versions. Try adjusting the RDP protocol settings in the Remote Desktop client to see if it makes a difference.

Check RDP Settings on Remote Host: Ensure that the RDP settings on the remote host are properly configured to allow remote connections, and there are no restrictions or security policies that may be causing the unresponsiveness.

Disable RemoteFX: If RemoteFX is enabled on the remote host, try disabling it to see if it resolves the issue. In some cases, RemoteFX can cause compatibility problems with certain RDP clients.

Check for Software Conflicts: Investigate if there are any third-party software applications or security software on your Windows 11 machine that may be interfering with the RDP client's functionality. Temporarily disable such applications to test if they are causing the problem.

Check Event Viewer: Look for any relevant error messages or warnings in the Event Viewer on both the remote host and your local machine. This might provide additional insights into the cause of the unresponsiveness.

Test on a Different Machine: If possible, try connecting to the remote host from a different machine running a different operating system to see if the issue is specific to your Windows 11 Pro setup.

Check for Known Issues: Research if there are any known issues or compatibility problems with Remote Desktop on Windows 11 Pro, and check for any related updates or patches from Microsoft.

If the problem persists after trying the above steps, you may want to reach out to Microsoft Support or consult with experienced IT professionals who can provide further assistance based on the specific setup and configurations in your environment.
