I have installed MDT on a Windows 2022 server and and also downloaded the latest version of the Driver Automation Tool which is 7.2.2. When launching the tool it states that "The response content cannot be parsed because the internet explorer engine is not available." Has anyone been able to get this to work on a Windows 2022 server since I.E is not longer around?

    Hello

It seems like the Driver Automation Tool relies on the Internet Explorer engine, which is no longer available on Windows Server 2022. To resolve this issue, you could try the following steps:

    • Check for updates: Make sure you have the latest version of the Driver Automation Tool that is compatible with Windows Server 2022.
    • Compatibility mode: Right-click on the Driver Automation Tool executable, go to Properties, and try running it in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows.
    • Use an alternative: If the above steps don't work, you might consider looking for an alternative driver automation tool that doesn't rely on the Internet Explorer engine.
    • Community support: Check forums and communities related to MDT and the Driver Automation Tool to see if others have found a workaround for this issue on Windows Server 2022.

    Hola,

Try installing Visual Studio 2015 isolated shell.

DAT tries to start downloading the drivers in IE automatically, to override this, install VSiSH 2015 it should resolve the issue.
