There is no clear definition of what qualifies as a view for a video in SharePoint Online. However, some possible factors that may affect the view count are:
- The video must be played for at least a few seconds, not just clicked on.
- The video must be played in the File and Media web part, not in a separate window or tab.
- The video must be played by a unique visitor, not the same person multiple times.
- The video must be stored in SharePoint Online or OneDrive for Business, not in Stream (Classic) or other platforms.

The view count may also depend on other factors such as caching, browser settings, network issues, etc. Therefore, the view count may not be very accurate or consistent.
