Have a .NET web app on an azure windows instance. On this IIS instance, need to set up a SSL certificate purchased from ssl.com.
I am following the instructions in this link.

It is forcing to create an App Service.
I need a way to set up the purchase the certificate on my specific azure instance.
Any pointers would help.

Since you are on IIS you dont need App service !
