Hi,

After updating Microsoft Office 2016 at 2023-07-28, when I try to save multiple e-mails as txt, the file's encoding becomes ANSI not GB2312, all Chinese characters can not be read correctly.

How to choose the proper encoding or set the default encoding as GB2312 like before, so Chinese characters can be read correctly?

Thanks.

    Hi @shicmao ,

Based on my below test, i can change the encoding of the .txt file when i try to save the file:

1.Open an email>click File>Save As>beside Save as type, choose Text Only(*.txt)>type the file name>Click Save.

2.In the pop-up window, click NO.

3.Click Other encoding: choose the encoding.
