I inherited a remote machine at work. It is a Windows server 2016

It has the Windows Network Multiplexor Adapter applied and utilizes two network ports

How can I disable or modify it so that I can add local firewall rules

I have tried adding firewall rules but whatever rules I add, they do not seem to apply

    Hello @ Chris Brown

Apologies if I've misunderstood your question, You might simply disable Network Multiplexor Adapter from Network and Sharing Center.
