Hi,

One of our users have a strange issue. When he receives an email with an attachment (Any type: PDF, word, excel). Initially it is all good, let's say 2 MB of word document. After 2 days, word document in the email shows reduced to 4 KB and it doesn't open. This happens for both internal and external emails and any type of file type. But randomly. Not for all emails. Not sure the cause of the same.

    Hi @GoodResource ,

    Thanks for your reply!

In order to further confirm if the issue is related to Outlook desktop client, please log in to your web mail and check if the attachments can be opened successfully.

If everything is Ok, what's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Please first make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.

I notice that the attachment was corrupted after 2 days, considering the impact of some add ins, It is suggested that you try to start outlook in safe mode(win+R>type: outlook /safe) to check whether it works normally.

If the issue persists, considering that it may be caused by the damage of the profile/data file in the Outlook client, it is suggested that you could try to create a new profile (Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) and add the account for testing to check if there are some differences.

    Hope to help you!
