Problems with the Authenticator app

Hi,

I can’t access my school account. I have previously used the Microsoft Authenticator app, which I managed to use without a problem the first time. I do not recall if I did enable the two-step verification process the first time I used the app. After a while I deleted the app from my phone. Now, when trying to access my school account, it’s asking me to “Open the Authenticator app, and enter the number shown to sign in”. When I open the Authenticator app I have no option to enter the number shown. When trying to “Set-up the 2-step verification” it says I have to scan a QR Code. Where I am supposed to scan this QR Code?!

Please help I have been trying to access my school account for almost a week and still no success!

    After a while I deleted the app from my phone

    Because of this you'll need to ask the school admins to reset the account so a new QR can be generated to link the device to account.
