May I ask if anyone have idea for the situation below?

Every time I run the Sysprep with generalize to make a image and reboot the Windows, the message will be pop up in the BIOS page.

"Windows cannot find c:\program files.exe...make sure you typed the name correctly"

Then I press ok, and reboot the PC, everything is ok. It will not show anymore.

However, when I run Sysprep again, the errors will be occurs again.

I have search the keyword XCVault.exe in Registry and tried to install and uninstall the PDF-Exchange editor ( the .exe file is a license activation file related to PDF-Exchange editor), but the problem exists every time I run Sysprep again.

Anyone have idea for this? Thanks a lot..

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

1,Please check the setupact.log file under %WINDIR%\System32\Sysprep\Panther and Event log to see if there is any further information.

2,If possible, completely uninstall the PDF-Exchange Editor software from the system. Then check Autostart Programs: Even after uninstalling the PDF-Exchange Editor, there might be remnants of the program that are set to run at startup. Follow the steps outlined in the previous response to check the "Startup" folder, "Run" keys in the Registry, and use Autoruns to disable or remove any references to "C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\Vault\XCVault.exe."

3,If the issue persists, consider rebuilding the image from scratch. Ensure that during the image creation process, no unnecessary or problematic software is installed or configured.

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Simon
