breadcrum not updating in SSRS

We have recently migrated SSRS from 2012 version to 2017 version. What we found out is that Breadcrum feature of 2017 is not working proper. The link report is opening, but the breadcrum menu is not updating. and also by clicking back its not going to the main report. I have googled a lot, but got no proper solution. hence I am contacting Microsoft portal to get a proper solution.

    Hi @ABHISHEK DUTTA , 
     
    Assume you set the action 'go to report' in the main report.
     
    When we open the linked report, the breadcrumb menu will not update cause we are still in the main report.
     
    It's by design.
     
    You also said that clicking back its not going to the main report, however I couldn't reproduce the issue.
     
    I could go back to the main report directly.
     
    I'd like to suggest that you could use go to url and set 
     
        javascript:void(window.open('http://servername/Reports/reportfolder/reportname','_blank')) 
     
    When you click it will pop up a new window.
