add multiple accounts to teams - not available

im trying to add another account to teams - i do not seem to have this option? do i need to enable this feature on the back-end???

when i go to manage account i have no options to add a second account?

Hi @JG

As to I know, currently you can only sign in with one business account and add other personal account.

If you need to open two business accounts or more at the same time, you can do so with the browser, like Edge or Chrome then create different user profile for each Teams account. That way you don't need to sign out sign in to switch account.

I keep reading that it should be possible by going to "Profile > Accounts > add account "

However this is not available in my version of teams?

Administrators can restrict their users from signing-in to Teams using a personal account using policies. Teams apps on Windows and MacOS are gaining support for device policies that can restrict sign in to users from the organization. The policies can be set via Device Management solutions such as MDM (Mobile Device Management) or GPO (Group Policy Object).

When this policy is configured on a device, users can only sign in with accounts homed in an Azure AD tenant that is included in the "Tenant Allow List" defined in the policy. The policy applies to all sign-ins, including first and additional accounts. If an organization spans multiple Azure AD tenants, the administrator can include multiple Tenant IDs in the Allow List.

Links to add another account may continue to be visible in the Teams app, but they won't be operable.
