Can't access 365 admin portal after resetting password but I am the only admin for my organization

I was notified my microsoft that a couple of user accounts had some suspicious activity so I initiated our protocols to shut those accounts down, reset their passwords, etc. I also took the opportunity to reset my own and setup multi-factor authentication for my account given that I am the admin. I was able to log back in but now, when I click on the admin portal I get this:

Your sign-in was successful, but it doesn't meet the conditional access policy assigned to you. Contact your administrator if you need access.

I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR!!!

help.

    Hi

If the only global admin account on the tenant is blocked entirely, you can reach out to the Azure Data Protection team to restore access. 866-807-5850

Alternatively, I would suggest raising a ticket using your local number from one of the Global Support numbers listed here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

They may be able to reset your Auth methods to allow you to login again and reset, and in this case may be able to grant you admin access on the tenant.

You will need to provide proof that you are the owner of the Subscription.

Also, for the future, you can create an emergency access account (break glass) in Azure AD. This account will help prevent being accidentally locked out of your Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) organization because you can't sign in for any reason.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks
