I honestly have no clue how to fix this or what even caused the issue. I dragged an image into Microsoft Word and then deleted it. Now when I go to export (HTML) via email the remaining content, Word is attaching the image I deleted as an attachment to the email.

In the image below you can see, I cleared the entire document and still this PNG image is attaching when I export. Anybody ever experience this? I really don't want to replicate everything I have into another document because of formatting issues.

    Hi @Ben,

It's possible that the image is still present in the document, but not visible. Here are some possible solutions to try:

    1. Turn off "Picture Placeholders" option: Word has a setting called "Picture Placeholders" which can cause images to appear even when they are not visible in the document. To turn this off, go to "File" > "Options" > "Advanced". Under "Show document content", uncheck the "Show picture placeholders" option.
    2. Clear the cache: Clearing the cache can sometimes resolve issues with Word. To clear the cache, go to "File" > "Options" > "Advanced". Under "General", click the "File Locations" button. You'll see a list of locations where Word stores files. Copy each location to your clipboard, then close Word and paste each location into your File Explorer. Delete all the files and folders within each location.
    3. Show hidden characters: Sometimes, when you delete an image, it leaves behind a hidden character. To see if this is the case, click on the "¶" button in the "Paragraph" tab of the Ribbon. This will show all the hidden characters in the document. Look for anything that looks like an image or a box, and delete it.
    4. Use the Find and Replace feature: You can find all the images in your document and replace them with nothing. To do this, you need to type ^g in the Find what box, and leave the Replace with box empty. Then click Replace All to remove all the images.
