We have encountered a problem with our Server 2012 R2. Initially, we successfully installed Patch KB502---, but when attempting to install Patch KB3109560, we receive an error message stating "Patch is not applicable". Firstly, our primary concern is that "if we successfully installed the latest patch KB502--- is that remediate the vulnerability of this older Patch KB3109560 " Secondly, highlight if there is any other reason for the patch is not applicable. We kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter.

Seems old and likely is superseded. You could compare the files on your system versus the files listed in KB If you found newer versions then "not applicable" would be the expected behavior.
