I am an administrator working with educators. I am trying to create an Outlook Calendar that they can copy on to their calendar and then edit without affecting or adding to the original. I have tried the basic share and copy features, but when they copy and edit it the original changes. I have tried publishing a calendar and sharing the link, but they can not copy. How can I accomplish what I am attempting.

    Hi @Kelly Arbuckle ,

I am trying to create an Outlook Calendar that they can copy on to their calendar and then edit without affecting or adding to the original.

Assuming that you are all using the Outlook desktop client, export/import the calendar via PST or CSV files would be the better approach for your requirement.

    To export:

    1. Go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export:
      User's image
    2. Choose Export to a file, Next :
      User's image
    3. Choose either pst or csv as the file type, click Next, select the calendar you want to share.
    4. Follow the wizard to complete. When prompted to give it a password, you can click Cancel to skip.

After sharing the exported file, the users can import the file to their own Outlook and then make changes into it without affecting the original one. The procedure of similar, just need to choose an Import action in the wizard.
