group policy problems

added DC2019 to DC2012 and promote . DC2012 GP is working fine, DC2019 says can't find a file

question is I am to demote the DC2012, Can GP of domain be copied, moved, transfer, to another DC manually

    I did a repadmin /showrepl

    and all passted

    but when i go to Group policy managment if I connect to original DC the mapped drive shows

    but if i connect to new DC the mapped drive shows error that newDC cannot find the folder under sysvol where everything is

    so you cannot copy the GP over to new server

    Hi

    Please check if the SYSVOL volume replicated correctly, the GP should be replaicated usually, so I would not demote the 2012 unless the replication work.

    Open your DFS console and check the SYSVOL replication from here to see if it work.
