Rename AzureAD Display Name

Question

Hello, just to make sure, is there any impact on AzureAD services if I do rename my Tenant Visible Name? I am not talking of renaming the sharepoint url, nor any other UID etc. Just the name here

From what I can remember this has no impact at all, right? I am a bit concerned because of this post https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1180702/azure-ad-changing-name-domain-or-the-company

But I think there is a missunderstanding?

Yea, thats just the display name. You can change that no worries.

What you have mentioned in the screenshot is the directory name.

Changing Azure AD directory name would not create any impact on any of the Azure AD services.

Any services which is used in Azure, will be called using the tenant ID. So, whichever directory is marked as default directory in Azure tenant would be called upon access any resources from directory.

Directory name is only for your reference while working on different directories.
