Authenticator Code Lost

My friend is having trouble getting into her student account. She has used the Microsoft Authenticator app before, but just recently her 2 Step Verification was disabled. To reapply for 2 step, she has to use a generated QR code. This code is given when applying the first time. I would like to know if there is any way to receive that QR code again or generate a new one.

    An admin on the account (likely the school admins) can add / remove and otherwise manage devices here.

    Once the account is reset a new QR code will be generated.
