Afshin N 0 Reputation points2024-06-08T00:40:24.28+00:00 There is a way, may be not the easiest way, to migrate all files and programs from windows 7 to windows 11. Here is what I do:
- upgrade windows 7 to windows 10 as first step.
- if you are planning to migrate data on a new hardware/ new computer, make a disk image of newly upgraded to windows 10 computer and clone it to your new computer ( which is windows 11 compatible).
- once your upgraded windows 7 to 10 is cloned on new computer, ho ahead and upgrade windows 10 to 11 on new computer. This way your data and programs are transferred to new computer and upgraded to windows 11.
for cloning , there are many utilities out there to choose from.
