Windows 11 RDP unstable for file transfers

The remote is a Windows 10 Pro.

All these years, the RDP client was a Windows 10 PC and things were working very fine.

Lately, I switched to a new Windows 11 Pro machine. Now the RDP client is this Windows 11. I find it very difficult to transfer a file from the RDP client (shared local resource) to the remote. It keeps getting interrupted almost immediately after file transfer starts. I have to keep retrying before I get it done successfully after about 10 tries.

Is this a known issue and how do I fix it?

Thanks.

    Hello @ K. Kong

Since it is a new Windows 11 machine, is there any possibility of firewall ,security or antivirus software  blocking the file transfer?

Also considering testing the connection quality between the two computers using tools like ping and traceroute.
