Remote Lock and Reset Passcode options are greyed out

Hi! We have a few Windows 10/11 laptops in our company and we manage them with Microsoft Intune. I can see that some of the options are greyed out- the remote lock and the reset passcode options. I read about it a little bit and I understood these actions can not be performed on Windows 10/11 laptops. why these options are greyed out and if they are, what are the other options to reset the passcode and remote lock the laptops we control?

Thank you

@Adi Zeevi Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

The remote lock and the reset passcode are not supported on windows devices, so these options are greyed out.

Based on my research, there are no settings that can remote lock and reset passcode for windows devices. What intune can do on windows devices is based on the CSPs that windows provided. I didn't find such CSPs.

If you are interested in this, it is suggested to post in intune feedback portal. It is a place to collect customers' requirements and problems. Here is the link:

    Thanks for your understanding.
