Deploying a Django app using example template - won't accept admin username

I'm trying to deploy a Django app to an Azure VM following this template: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/samples/azure/azure-quickstart-templates/django-app/
However on the first screen, nothing I enter for Admin username is accepted. How can I resolve this?

Is this a value I have to set up elsewhere beforehand?

2023-08-08T14:01:04.35+00:00 @BB - No you dont have to setup anywhere else beforehand, are you using any special characters? and if you dont mind sharing, what is the username that you are trying to use?
