In the list of available models in Azure AI Studio I don't have neither "text-embedding-ada-002" nor any other embeddings model

I just reproduced the same, I'm able to find the model in these regions. One example is from South Central US region:

So please try these available regions. If you still face issues, please let us know.

Looks like despite information by your link there are no regions with both embeddings ada2 and gpt4 models available.
I checked France Central, and East US - they only have embeddings and gpt3.5 models but not gpt4 and UK South have only gpt4 and gpt3.5 models.
This is really frustrating (not talking about misleading documentation on Learn portal)

I am in the same situation. I only get gpt-4 in East-us-2, but no embeddings ada2 in that region. And embeddings ada2 is available for me in East-us, but I cannot get gpt-4 in the same region. so I am not able to use Promptflow in any region. Hope Microsoft can solve this region availability issue soon.

I would suggest following this models page for the available regions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/openai/concepts/models#embeddings-models-1

Regarding the GPT-4, France Central and East US region this is documented here.

As we know East US and FC is not available for new customers.

@VasaviLankipalle-MSFT , do you know when can we have ada2 in east-us-2? as we are new users of GPT-4, and cannot get gpt-4 in east-us. but ada2 is not available in east-us-2. Is there a way to use Promptflow with gpt-4 in ease-us-2, and ada2 in east-us? I tried, but not able to do it. Please advise.

There are no regions with both chatGPT-4 and embeddings-ada2 model available! None of the out-of-the-box RAG solutions work because they don't support 2 different endpoints for Azure OpenAI gpt4 and embeddings.

And I checked it deploying things for real, not just looking up to misleading documentation your screenshotted here.

@VasaviLankipalle-MSFT, yes, please do share this feedback with product team. My company also feel the same pain that we don't have GPT4 and embedding model in the same region, which we cannot move on in our AI project. Hopeful MSFT can open up GPT in East-US for new GPT4 client, or open up ada2 in east-us-2 region (which we have gpt4 available).
