What are the green solid checkmarks on desktop applications (chrome, work software, edge, etc)??

I'm really stuck with this issue, and I've searched all over for answers, but nothing seems to help. The problem is that some of the applications have these green check marks on them, and all the search results I get are about OneDrive check marks. But the weird thing is, these apps have nothing to do with OneDrive at all!
I've tried looking into settings and configurations, but I'm still clueless about why this is happening.
