AADSTS50020 error cannot use Teams

Windows 11. When I try to open a Teams meeting I get AADSTS50020 a tenant error. My Microsoft Account is my own. I have deleted and reinstalled Office 365 and Teams numerous times. The Teams application won't work. When I use the Web, the Web says I do not belong to the tenant domain and idenifies the domain of the sender as the tenant, so if it's from Quirk.com, it will say I am not a member of that domain. I know. That's why I am using a personal version.

I need to clear all the stuff associated with my google email and then start over, but I cannot. Settings > Accounts has only my gmail account. My Microsoft.com account has only my gmail account. There's something out there called Azure which seems broken but has only my gmail account. I've tried deleting credentials related to Office 365 and teams.

Anyway, I want to erase what is being used for this education/corporate teams stuff completely so I can use my individual account. I am not a programmer or IT guy. Help please.

    @Ann Brierley

    AADSTS50020 error cannot use Teams.

As you said, AADSTS50020 error cannot use Teams that used the wrong endpoint (personal and organization accounts). There are several reasons why this issue happened, you could refer it:

Cause 1: Used unsupported account type (multitenant and personal accounts)

Cause 2: Used the wrong endpoint (personal and organization accounts)

Cause 3: Signed in to the wrong tenant

I want to erase what is being used for this education/corporate teams stuff completely.

First, we can try to double check your steps just to be sure:

    • Quit the Microsoft Team.
    • In finder, select Go> Go to folder.
    • Copy and past  ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft > Go.
    • Move Teams to trash.
    • Open spotlight search> Keychain access.
    • In keychain access, search for Teams> teams identities cache.
    • Delete.
    • Relaunch.

After verifying these steps we can try another method:

    • Quit the Microsoft Team.
    • In finder, select Go> Go to folder.
    • Enter  ~/Library/caches.
    • Delete the com.microsoft.teams folder.
