Hi,
I'm reposting the message from a previous thread as it seems the comms have died off with my point of contact.
Can I please get some support.
End of new message.

Bilocker key missing from outlook.
Hi,
I fired up my personal laptop this morning and it now requires a Bitlocker ID key. I followed the online instructions to retrieve the key from my outlook account and although the laptop is linked to my account, there is no recovery ID info. Can I ask why the info isn't there and how it can be fixed?
Thanks

Hi Ashlee,
I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.
If you enabled BitLocker by yourself, try to recover it:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fin...
Also, check all the Microsoft accounts that are logged in to this computer.
If it has been locked automatically, contact the manufacturer's support services to help you out with this matter.
For troubleshooting steps, kindly check out the links below:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/36701-turn-...
https://www.elevenforum.com/t/find-bitlocker-re...
If none of these worked for you, unfortunately, the only option would be performing a harddisk format which leads to wiping out all data.
Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.

Hi Dyrai,
Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, the suggestions haven't and it looks like the laptop will have to be returned to manufacturer.
So I can have a better understanding, do you happened to know why the required key wasn't on my linked outlook account?
Have I not completed the setup properly, although I can see the laptop has been registered/linked?
Cheers
Craig

Hi,
I haven't received a reply to my previous message on 31st July.
Update:
Bizarrely and very coincidently, the laptop in question that was linked to my account, has now disappeared!
I haven't removed the laptop erroneously and my other devices are still present on my account.
Could I please get further assistance?
Ashlee
